Cinemas around Maidstone

Odeon Cinema Maidstone

Barker Rd, Lockmeadow, Maidstone ME16 8RG, UK – 0333 014 4501

Cinema has 8 screens so lots of showing at different times. They also have special screenings available, some autism friendly, kids Cinema, silver screen for the older generation where you're given a cup of tea etc too. There are plastic booster seats provided in every screen free of charge, you just pick one up as you walk into your screen. You can book online or just arrive, obviously for popular films it's probably worth booking. There are toilets on site, I've always found them clean. The food and drink although pricey is available if you wanted that too. For 3D films the glasses are £1 and they on they are yours so next time you don't need to buy them. No hiring etc.... So much easier. You can ask for premier seating which is at the back of the cinema screens for those needling extra space for whatever reason, the extra leg room is great and the chair are a bit more comfortable too. The staff have always been really friendly and helpful, always chatty and smile too so it's a great place to go for every occasion really. I would definitely recommend. I don't go anywhere else to see a film.

Always had the newest releases, with a few classic on now and again. The seats have been updated and even the standard ones are comfortable for about 2.5 hours. Staff do regularly patrol the screens looking for rowdy people (although I've only experienced this once). The print off your pre-booked tickets is a great addition and works well with two points to do this. The front desk is usually manned and all the staff are very polite. As you know cinema snacks are expensive but this is the way of all cinemas.

Saw Guys and Dolls last night, 21st March. Well done to all. A very good evenings entertainment. Its a small theatre with a big heart. Will be going back again.

Just back from Cinderella, pantomime for 2017. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Have laughed all evening. Great production with funny actors and great singing. Best panto we have seen at the Hazlitt. Please bring Buttons back again next year, hilarious! Theatre is cozy, comfy and great position in Town for parking and eating. Perfect evening. Thank you Hazlitt.
